3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

The computer software suite DORTDAT2 has been developed for integrating the task of an input data file creation for the two-dimensional(2-D) radiation transport SN code, DORT. This suite consists of a series of three interrelated program modules:

  1. DORTADM: input file manager which administrates a number of input files appearing at the design/engineering phase, and includes an online auto-execution device for a server computer,

  2. DORTDAT2: input contents creator that enables to create or modify an input with least efforts, and to avoid as much input errors as possible with a comprehensive guidance and active interfaces, and

  3. DORTGEO2: 2-D mesh generator that automatically generates mesh information from 2-D geometrical figures or plans which could be drawn using an attached canvas.

13. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

The html-based documents such as users' guide can be shared on Internet. All modules are implemented using C++ and working under Windows2 PC. It is proved that its usefulness is outstanding through an input-making process, when the procedure is compared with a traditional way in terms of the efficiency of the task achievement.
