The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) will host the Fourth NEA Stakeholder Involvement Workshop on Optimisation in Decision Making: From Insight to Action on 15-17 October 2025 in Paris, France. This event will bring together government representatives, industry leaders, researchers, NGOs and civil society to advance inclusive and transparent decision-making processes in the nuclear sector.
The NEA invites submissions of case studies that highlight experiences in stakeholder engagement within the nuclear sector. This call seeks real-world examples of effective engagement strategies, challenges encountered and lessons learnt in fostering transparency, trust and inclusivity. Selected case studies will be featured at the Fourth NEA Stakeholder Involvement Workshop on Optimisation in Decision Making: From Insight to Action to inform future stakeholder engagement efforts.
The workshop is a joint collaboration between the Extended Programme Committee of the event and the NEA High-Level Group on Stakeholder Engagement, Trust, Transparency and Social Sciences (HLG-SET).

Submitted case studies could help shape global best practices by providing real-world insights on stakeholder engagement, governance, and decision-making processes. Selected contributions will be featured in workshop discussions and a publicly available report, informing ongoing international discourse.
