Launch of the NEA Small Modular Reactor Dashboard: Third Edition

Background

This webinar presented findings from the NEA Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Dashboard: Third Edition and demonstrated the new NEA SMR Digital Dashboard. Through the NEA SMR Dashboard, the NEA tracks SMRs around the world and assesses their progress in the real economy in the areas of licensing, siting, financing, supply chain readiness, engagement and fuel availability.

The NEA SMR Dashboard: Third Edition provides an authoritative global assessment of SMR progress and introduces new analyses to support policymakers. In addition to tracking progress toward first-of-a-kind deployment of SMRs, this edition offers in-depth insights into financing, supply chain development and the advancement of commercially available and qualified fuel.

The NEA SMR Digital Dashboard gives policymakers and the public direct access to NEA’s SMR database and offers stakeholders a real-time window into the global status of SMR development. This digital platform also enables continuous data collection and more frequent updates to SMR assessments to provide near real-time evidence-based analysis.
