This document describes the main highlights since the March 2006 meeting of the Radioactive Waste Management Committee (RWMC-39) of each of its three working parties (IGSC, FSC and WPDD), providing a description of their achievements and an outline of the main expectations for the coming 12-month period. This document has been revised since the RWMC-40 of March 2007 in light of comments received at the meeting, and further updated by the Secretariat.
