The WGRNR organised an international workshop aimed to review and discuss recent and past construction experience lessons learnt including perspectives from regulatory authorities, vendors, and licensee; issues associated with project management resources.
The workshop was intended to also discuss the lessons learnt in the regulation of site selection, evaluation and site preparation as well as the review of regulatory practices for the licensing of new reactors, including the regulatory body infrastructure, staffing and experitise needed.
The workshhop, held in September 15-17, 2010, in Prague, Czech Republic, hosted byu the State Office for Nuclear Safety, provided a forum to communicate recent experience on these topics to a wider audience. This report documents the proceedings of the workshop.
