A major activity of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) in the field of radioactive waste management is the organization of independent, international peer reviews of national studies and projects. The NEA peer reviews help national programmes to assess the work accomplished. The review reports may also be of interest to others with their comments on issues of general relevance. The present report represents the consensus view of the International Review Team.
