Tips for using search on the NEA website

Keyword search

Type in your keywords into the main search field. More general search terms will return many more results: typing “nuclear safety” will return a great many results, but “safety culture” a lot less.

If you know the official reference number of the NEA report, enter this directly. Try this search: Searching for NEA Report NEA/CSNI/R(2019)1.

Tip: As part of the OECD family, the NEA uses UK spelling and writing standards. Because of this, please be mindful of UK spelling variants with your searches (e.g. organisation [UK] instead of organization [US], ageing [UK] instead of aging (US), behaviour [UK] instead of behavior [US]. You are likely to be more successful using UK spelling.

Filter and sort

Filtering search results to find the material you want

The topic, resource and tag filters allow you to refine your search. You can scroll through each filter to select the categories that interest you, or type within each filter if you know already the categories that you want.

Filter by topic and subtopic

You can filter results within topics and subtopics.

Filtering by resource

You can filter by the type of resource (e.g. activity, events, projects, news, publications, etc). NEA Committees and Working Groups are classified as ‘activities’ on the website, so if you are looking for a particular group, enter its full name.
