The NEA in co-ordination with the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest will convene the second country-specific workshop under the NEA Global Forum on Nuclear Education, Science, Technology and Policy on the topic of "Aligning high education and workforce needs in Romania". The event will take place from 10-11 October 2023.
Country-specific workshops enable dialogue between academia, government and nuclear industry to overcome barriers to nuclear education and outline scenarios for its future in a specific country. The country-specific workshop in Romania will focus on the role of academia in the workforce development to enable the advancement of the nuclear energy sector in the country.
