Workshop |
Under the auspices of the OECD/NEA Committee on the Safety of Nuclear Installations (CSNI), the Working Group on Risk Assessment (WGRISK), together with the OECD/NEA Database Projects ICDE, FIRE and CODAP, will host a three-day expert workshop at GRS gGmbH in Garching, near Munich, Germany. (Joint WGRISK and Database Projects Expert Workshop on Applicability and Applications of Operating Experience from the OECD/NEA Database Projects to Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PSA)). The workshop will focus on sharing how operating experience data from NEA Database Projects are applied to Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) for nuclear installations, and will discuss future data needs and emerging applications.
In addition to topical sessions, the workshop will include facilitated plenary and wrap-up sessions. Active participation in discussions and formulation of conclusions and recommendations is encouraged.
In-person only (online participation is not foreseen).
Prospective speakers are invited to submit a 300–500 word abstract via the event website page by 13 February 2026.
Accepted presenters will be notified by 27 February 2026 and will be asked to upload their presentations prior to the event (instructions available on the website).
Experts from industry, regulatory authorities, technical support and research organisations, designers and vendors and PSA practitioners/consultants from WGRISK and Database Projects member countries and strategic partners are welcome.
