The NEA has announced that the next edition of Roadmaps to New Nuclear will be co-chaired by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of Korea. The announcement was made during this year’s event, co-chaired by Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, Ebba Busch, and NEA Director-General William D. Magwood, IV, on 19-20 September in Paris, France.
“Roadmaps to New Nuclear will continue building on the momentum of previous events by convening government and industry leaders to address critical aspects of accelerating nuclear new build,” said NEA Director-General Magwood. “I look forward to working with Minister Dukgeun Ahn and the MOTIE team on enhancing international co-operation to bring solutions to the countries most interested in proceeding with nuclear new build.”
Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2025 will bring together ministers, CEOs and other high-level leaders from like-minded countries to focus on the most pressing issues in nuclear energy, including access to finance, supply chain readiness and building a skilled and diverse workforce. This event will provide a collaborative space where governments and industry can foster strategic partnerships, share best practices and learn from each other's experiences to deliver on their national priorities more effectively.
Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2025 is scheduled to take place in the autumn of 2025 in Paris, France.
