International Nuclear Data cooperation at the NEA - A brief history

The NEA has played an important role in the international coordination of activities related to nuclear data measurements and evaluation. The European-American Nuclear Data Committee (EANDC) was established in 1959 and held its first meeting in Stockholm, Sweden in March 1960. The committee was later renamed to the Nuclear Energy Agency Nuclear Data Committee (NEANDC) when Japan joined the NEA.
The NEANDC was reorganised in 1992, together with the NEA Committee on Reactor Physics (NEACRP), to form the basis for the NEA Nuclear Science Committee (NSC).

The table below shows when and where the EANDC and NEANDC held its meetings.
