The main decision body of the NEST Framework is the Management Board which meets twice a year and is comprised of one member and one alternate from each NEST country.

Dr Stéphanie Cornet, CEA, Chair Stephanie has 20 years working in the nuclear field and in particular in the area of the fuel cycle with an expertise in the chemistry of the actinide. She is a chemist with a PhD in inorganic chemistry from the University of Durham (UK). She has a diploma in Management from the University of Manchester. After 8 years as a senior research associate and a fellow in the centre for Radiochemistry Research at the University of Manchester, she joined the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency as a nuclear fuel cycle scientist in charge of co-ordinating international projects related to the Fuel Cycle and the Generation IV International Forum (GIF). She initiated, established and implemented a framework on skills, training and education - the NEST framework. She joined the Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) in 2020 as a project manager in charge of projects on multirecycling Pu in PWR and on advanced reprocessing. She is now working in international relations in charge of co-ordinating activities of the CEA in collaboration with other European countries and the United Kingdom and well as activities associated with the European Commission, and international organisations. She is a member of several Programme Committees and has been invited as keynote panel speaker in international conferences. She currently serves as a member of the SNETP secretariat, and its associated committees, the Generation IV International Forum and is a member of the Bureau of WiN Ile de France. She acts as a mentor for young women in particular within the WiN France-UK programme, WiN Global and the French Nuclear Society. |
