Other Rules
The list-moderators reserve the right to final determination of the appropriateness
of a given posting or frequency of posting (present moderators are: Pedro
Vaz, Bernadette Kirk and Jim Gulliford).
When replying quote only enough text from the original message to make
your message meaningful. Lengthy messages with many levels of quoting waste
bandwidth and are difficult to read.
Avoid when possible posting encoded files or file attachments to the SATIF
Listserver. Preferred mode is ASCII. Provide Web addresses for downloading
reports rather than send them with the message.
If your response is of interest to only one recipient, send it via private
e-mail.
Include your e-mail address somewhere in the body of your message so that
people can respond to you directly rather than clutter the list.
Commercial postings are not allowed on the SATIF Listserver except for
postings of meeting announcements and educational opportunities by non-profit
and not-for-profit. Posts are not to exceed 25 lines.
E-mail accounts which bounce large quantities of error messages back to
the Listserver can be un-subscribed. If you feel that you have been un-subscribed,
simply try re-subscribing.
Opinions expressed on the list are solely those of the individual authors
unless otherwise indicated.
The SATIF Listserver archives are considered to be copyrighted by the list
owner, but single messages belong to the message originators
If you have questions or problems with the SATIF Listserver that you cannot
solve, e-mail
, not the SATIF mailing list.
